Michelle Hinds joined SkinMedica, an Allergan Company, as a regional strategic account manager in 2013 after being an aesthetic sales consultant for four years in direct sales of a semi-permanent injectable and medical skin care to plastic surgeons, facial plastic surgeons and cosmetic dermatologists throughout Northern Nevada and the Central Valley of California. In July 2014, Hinds became a customer education manager, aligned to national practice education with the national product seminars, aesthetic practice management symposiums and physician/advocate summits. In January 2016, Hinds was promoted to associate director, professional relations/strategic communications, SkinMedica. Then, in January 2018, Hinds was promoted to director, professional relations, U.S. medical aesthetics. In 2023, Hinds became national director, AHCP, thought leader development. In this role, Hinds is responsible for setting the annual key opinion leader (KOL) strategy and contributing to the development and implementation of the marketing plan for U.S. facial aesthetics, SkinMedica, body contouring, aesthetic plastic surgery and Alle/Allergan data labs, through management of relationships with KOLs. Hinds consistently has in-depth knowledge of her KOLs and works closely with marketing and sales to recommend, create, and execute KOL-focused strategic plans. She continues to oversee and develop relationships with key decision makers and thought leaders, including development of KOLs and emerging leaders to increase Allergan’s presence and competitive position.
